Because the inclusion of KD into any decent roster can propel them to become legitimate title contenders overnight. Therefore, many teams are prepared to sacrifice their core stability for the 2014 NBA MVP. The Toronto Raptors are no exception.

In fact, the 2019 champions are ready to broker a deal involving one or more of their core players and multiple future draft picks. Players like Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent Jr, and OG Anunoby could form a decent package for the Nets.

However, the Nets have their eyes on Raptors prodigy Scottie Barnes. The fourth overall pick of the 2021 draft has drawn comparisons with superstars like Giannis Antetokounmpo. In fact, the similarities between the game of the two cannot be ignored.
