Dallas Mavericks make a statement with Walker deal

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks were on cloud nine by the end of the 2021-22 NBA season. They had a brilliant postseason and after making it to the Western Conference finals against all odds. The Mavs lost out in the WCF to the eventual champions Golden State Warriors.

However, there were many issues surrounding the team. The lack of depth in the backcourt was brought forth by fans and experts alike. Doncic was pretty much the only creator for the team. This was a major drawback even though he did his job brilliantly.
