Sean Elliott revealed that Wembanyama is determined to go the extra mile for playing throughout the season. The two-time All-Star soon opened up about the Frenchman’s discipline.
“He’s already somebody who is very in tune with eating it the right way, getting his rest. He asked us all, you know, how can you get enough sleep on the road,” said Elliott.?“Most guys are like ‘what’s the best club to go to in Phill or New York?’ He is asking how you can get rest on back-to-back. To call it a day, Elliott remarked that Wembanyama also reminded him of Warriors’ Stephen Curry, whose focus is to be himself and win than to please a certain crowd. With each step, Wembanyama proves how determined he is to imbibe the Spurs’ culture. Therefore, Elliott’s comments do not come as a surprise at all.
