The late Kobe Bryant has recently broken another record. He has now joined LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Luka Doncic as his basketball card was sold for over $2 million. This is the highest a Bryant card has ever been sold for.

This card did not include any of Bryant’s autographs or memorabilia. This was not a rookie card, either. The card was a ‘1997-98 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Emerald’. The card was one of a hundred and was number 4 in the entire sequence. However, this card is special since only cards 1-10 possess emerald quality.

The Beckett grading services gave this card a score of 8.5. That is one of their highest scores. Jesse Craig, director of business development at PWCC, said, “This is arguably Kobe’s best card in existence.” Moreover, this card has extremely high value since it is seldom you find one in such a good condition.
