NBA players receive love from all around the world. Being one of the biggest stars in the organization’s history, Kobe Bryant had a huge fan base. However, things were not the same for him in highschool. While he made it to the biggest level, his batch mates seemed to have something against Bryant at his prom.
As a NBA legend, Bryant was a huge star. He entered the league straight out of high school and made a name for himself. He quickly grew into a fan favorite after a couple of impressive seasons alongside Shaquille O’Neal. In time, the ‘Mamba’ became the face of the league, and his fan base kept growing.

Just like other students, Bryant wanted to attend a normal prom. However, his batch mates had something against the NBA legend. They felt it was Lower Merion’s prom and not just Bryant’s.
However, it was a surprising sight to see the fellow high school students not wonder about Bryant coming in for the event.
Moreover, the superstar made headlines even at his prom. Bryant came in with former Grammy award winning star, Brandy Norwood at his prom. He eventually showed up three hours later, and the media went swarming in. With rumors of the pop star singing at the event, Norwood declined the claims and said she is just there to have some fun.
