A few months back, LeBron James and Bronny shared a major update on the latter’s next destination, the University of Southern California. Since then, fans have been eager to watch the future NBA prospect shine in college basketball. While there are a few more months for it, a post on Bronny from the University has made both his father and Shaquille O’Neal’s family very proud of him.

The update was not just about Bronny, but also his famous Sierra Canyon teammate who caught the attention of the scoring leader a few months back. Considering the talent of these two, USC, in James’ words, is “going up crazy this season“.

The University of California will be a team to watch out for in the upcoming NCAA season. Not just the men’s team, but also the women’s. A talented 17-year-old made an impact alongside Bronny James at Sierra Canyon. Ranked as the no.1 prospect for high school basketball this season, the young sensation will rep USC with Bronny from next season. 

Averaging 24 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 games, Judea ‘Juju’ Watkins is a name that is echoing around the league already. Watkins’ sheer commitment and dedication this season even led 38-year-old LeBron James to give her the credits she deserves. Now alongside Bronny James, a major update on the two is going viral on social media. 

The University of Southern California shared a picture of Bronny James and Judea Watkins in a shining USC jersey. The USC’s basketball team added, “Two of SoCal’s biggest stars will stay home and play for the Trojans next season!”

LeBron James shared the same on his Instagram and added, “GOING UP CRAZY THIS COMING SZN!! LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!” You know how excited the King is when the caption is in all caps! 

In addition, Shaquille O’Neal’s son Shaqir O’Neal and daughter Me’arah O’Neal shared USC’s post on their story to show their excitement as well. Showing her appreciation for the two, Me’arah wrote “gangg” in her story. While Bronny continues to receive all the attention on one side, Watkins is also stealing the spotlight slowly. 

How did LeBron James appreciate Juju Watkins’ sensational performance amid an injury? 

The 17-year-old twisted her ankle in a game against the Sidwell Friends high school back in January. Sadly, that was the same ankle she was sustaining soreness from. However, that did not stop the youngster from dropping 29 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and most importantly, a win.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had to give Watkins her flowers. The 4-time MVP shared a video of the 17-year-old’s gameplay in his story. That’s something Watkins is never going to forget!
