The Los Angeles Lakers have worked hard to bring back as many players as possible that played a role in their success before. Of course, they made new additions as well that shook the league to its core, like the blockbuster trade that helped them get Russell Westbrook. But sticking to some of their roots was also in their plan. So, they decided to bring back Dwight Howard and even Rajon Rondo.
The cornerstones of the team are going to remain the same, and that’s LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Unfortunately, there has been plenty of criticism surrounding these two superstars this year. From mocking their predicted lineup to bashing them for building the oldest team in the league, the purple and gold just can’t catch a break.
This only means that the duo and the supporting cast is even more fueled to prove everybody wrong. In fact, LeBron James even gave a warning to everyone else about an ‘Angry’ Anthony Davis.

Amidst all this tension, Rajon Rondo also gave a hilarious update about Davis’ offseason preparation. In the interview, he said, “I haven’t seen anything, other than how big he is (laughs). I think he’s been doing like 18 pushups a night.”

Rajon Rondo went through a roller coaster, only to come back to the Lakers
Rajon Rondo was a vital part of the Lakers NBA championship in 2020. He had been a part of the organization for two season before that, however, he signed with the Atlanta Hawks right afterward. As luck would have it, he eventually landed up with the purple and gold’s rivals, the LA Clippers.
This LA team wanted Rondo to contribute to their games as well as he did with the Lakers. But because he could not get along with their two superstars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, he spent most of the season benched.

Following this, he was shipped off to the Memphis Grizzlies who agreed to a buyout that landed him in the free agency market. Little did he know, the Lakers would be waiting with the door wide open and he jumped at the chance. It seems like Rondo is thrilled to be back and why wouldn’t he be? Both Bron and AD confessed that they missed him, which had him teary-eyed.
