Michael Jordan is one of the most famous people on this Earth. He is known for his win at all costs attitude and flamboyant lifestyle. His off-court adventures have been well documented, and he has several passions that he purses. One of them is motorcycles.
Jordan has said that he started riding motorcycles at a very young age. He says he and his brother begged their parents to get them a motorcycle. Jordan adds that he was never able to follow up on his passion because of this contract. But he says that he did go back after winning his first title.

We gave Phil Jackson a Harley, says Michael Jordan
Jordan adds,” When we won a championship, I think we gave Phil Jackson a Harley as a gift. Thats kind of when I start getting that itch to getting back into it, that cruise bike type of thing.
Everybody were talking about getting a Harley. So I never really got into it until the retired the last time. I didn’t go out and get a Harley. I actually got 3 BMWs.”

Jordan says that in his career, he wasn’t given the opportunity to go around motorcycles. But he did pick up interest along the way and a couple of years after retirement got him even closer. He says he has been a fan. Although when he got into it, he didn’t know anything about it. Jordan says he got to know about the sport through his cousins.

He says he had to learn about protective gear and he started to learn about racing. There he got to know about different championships and the racers of that field. He said he was inspired by the riders and the risks they take while racing. Jordan was a boyhood NASCAR fan, and he was very fascinated by speed.
