The Los Angeles Lakers are locked in a tough battle for a Playoffs spot as they currently occupy the 10th spot in the Western Conference with a 36-37 season record. The Lakers are doing everything in their power to make one final push to make it to the playoffs and avoid a play-in situation. However, the injured LeBron James has been utilizing his time off the court to hype up his young kings along with the team. ‘The King’ recently shared a post of his son, Bryce on Instagram, who could possibly be honoring another Lakers legend.

Fans often get to see LeBron James hyping up his elder son Bronny, who is due to start his freshman year in college. So, as James recovers from injury, he decided to highlight his younger son Bryce on Wednesday.

LeBron James gave fans a glimpse of the next generation

A picture posted by Bryce James was shared by ‘The King’ on his Instagram stories. In the picture, Bryce could be seen working at the Lakers’ practice facility. Moreover, Bryce possibly paid tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant.

Bryce captioned the image, “Be yourself,” where he posed in front of both of Kobe Bryant’s jersey numbers hanging in the facility. It may have been a cryptic message to his fans that he will be making a mark of his own instead of living in his father’s shadow.

James on the other hand went all in highlighting his younger son on his Instagram stories. The four-time NBA champion captioned the image, “Yessir!!!! Let’s get it. Young King,” with a king emoji.

While Bronny has been making highlights that have taken over social media, Bryce is not far behind. Bryce is a couple of inches taller than his elder brother, Bronny and some fans have predicted the younger James’ ceiling to be higher than Bronny’s.
