The Golden State Warriors have gone through major changes to their team. They have added two notable names to their roster – James Wiseman and Kelly Oubre Jr. How Oubre’s addition will pan out for the Dubs is something to look for. After all, he needs to fill some pretty big shoes as Klay Thompson will miss another season due to injury troubles.
It appears that Oubre likes the new culture with the Warriors, at least in the first few weeks. Oubre joked about head coach Steve Kerr’s approach to the team and compared it to that of NBA legend Michael Jordan.

The Athletic’s Anthony Slater revealed Oubre’s response to Steve Kerr handing out verbal jabs to players.
“He probably heard that from Michael Jordan because [MJ] is the biggest sh*t-talker ever…[Kerr] steals sh*t talk because I don’t think he sh*t-talked a lot back in the day when he was hooping.”
Kelly Oubre asked about GSW environment, mentioned Steve Kerr's verbal jabs: "He probably heard that from Michael Jordan because (MJ) is the biggest shit-talker ever…(Kerr) steals shit talk because I don't think he shit-talked a lot back in the day when he was hooping."

Kerr spent 5 years of his playing career with MJ. He won 3 NBA championship with Jordan and it is only natural to pick some traits from his former teammate. Regardless of Kerr’s approach, he has got the job done for the Warriors.
The Dubs have already been to 5 NBA finals and won 3 out of them under Kerr. If everything goes right, the Dubs might win a couple more titles with Kerr leading the charge.

The Warriors are a team that have been on a roll for the last few years. Apart from their below average last season, which was full of unfortunate injuries to their superstar. This year the fans expect the same level of success from the organization.
But in the one year that the Dubs were out of contention, the league has gone through major changes. There are no more clear cut super teams in the league, but instead the playing field is pretty much leveled.

Moreover, without their second best player in Klay Thompson, other supporting players will have to pick up the slack. How well Kelly Oubre Jr., James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green can play will make or break this season for them.
But in a nutshell, they are still one of the top contenders to win it all this year.
