In 2022, an Instagram gossip account brought a rumor to life claiming they had it “on good authority that this well-known NBA couple aren’t as faithful in love as their social media and image make them out to be!” Ayesha was quick to respond, praying, “Don’t believe everything you read.” In 2019, as she confessed to facing insecurities concerning  “zero male attention” compared to “all these women throwing themselves [at Steph],” it did more harm than good. 

Meanwhile, the Warriors crashed out of the postseason with a disappointing loss in the WC Semifinals. Despite the abundance of love for each other, an old, resurfaced video of the 34-year-old gushing over a shirtless waiter on national TV has unleashed the wrath of Curry fans yet again.

In 2021, Ayesha Curry was featured in a reality show for a segment called It’s Boss Lady Week, discussing various aspects of her professional and personal life. During a particular segment in the show, a shirtless waiter walked in with drinks for the ladies. As soon as the man entered the set, the crowd went off in a blaring scream and Ayesha tried to remove her wedding ring hilariously.

Even though the 2x NY Times bestselling author faked removing her wedding ring, two years later, fans have an adverse reaction to the incident. This video came just a few months before Ayesha asked fans not to disrespect their marriage.

A theory went viral suggesting the couple had an open marriage. However, the 34-year-old quickly dismissed these wild rumors commenting, “Do you know how ridiculous that is? Don’t disrespect my marriage like that.”

Despite the adverse reaction to the resurfaced video, the couple has a completely different equation with each other, and their social media activity stands as proof. In a recent IG post, Ayesha said, “I’d clip my acrylics off anytime to golf with you, my love.” Nonetheless, fans weren’t too appreciative of Ayesha’s actions in the past.

In response to the old video, loyal Steph Curry fans sympathized with the 2x MVP and requested for the Dubs superstar to be saved. Another user said, “Poor Steph, he never beating them allegations.” Another fan wrote, “Fake taking your ring off on National TV is so crazy, Pray for Steph Curry.”

After the postseason exit, Steph has had his schedule fixed for his family and a little for his business. Importantly, he didn’t let the embarrassing loss affect his offseason.

While the internet makes its presumptions about their goings on, October 2022 saw the Papa Curry vow-renewal ceremony to celebrate their decade-long togetherness. From picking Ayesga’s dress to decorating the event, the duo was officiated by their eldest daughter. While Ayesha continues to be under the radar, the Curry household forges on.
