Durant could own the Washington Commanders alongside billionaires Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z.
In a recent interview with the Brooklyn Nets forward, Durant gave a shoutout to the Union. He admitted, “Team ownership is definitely a goal of mine”. But he appeared to tread cautiously since it is a different league altogether. He said, “I just want to see some good leadership”. Durant hoped for a fresh start with the team. Dan Synder who has been at the center of controversies for the past few weeks has decided to sell the franchise. He has owned the team since 1999 and repeatedly told that he had no intention to sell.
