When MJ retired for the second time after winning his second three-peat, his fans and all basketball lovers over the world were saddened by the news because everybody knew that there was not gonna be anyone like him.

“I’m sad to see him go of course. You know he is a phenomenon, but he has had an incredible career. We will miss him and this is what he wants to do then you know I support him all the way. He’s worked hard, and he deserves to relax now. It’s time for him to sit back and watch some games,” said Aaliyah about Jordan retiring.

Aaliyah, unfortunately, lost her life in a plane crash in the Bahamas on August 25, 2001. She could not see her favorite player come out of retirement for the last time.
