When a celebrity walks into a room, the movement in the room generally comes to a halt. Dennis Rodman and Las Vegas have shared some wild moments together. From casino hopping to meeting with a motorcycle accident in broad daylight, Rodman’s shenanigans in Vegas are endless. For ‘The Worm‘, traveling to Vegas was an escape to clear his mind. It didn’t matter to him that the media would follow him. What he wanted was a wild night where he could simply be himself. With that said, the two-time NBA All-Star has a lot of interesting stories stemming from his time in Sin City.
A fan’s interaction with Dennis Rodman
Once at the Rio Suite Hotel in Las Vegas, Dennis Rodman entered with a pink coat on him. As he strolled through the casino with his friends, everyone’s eyes were on them. Each of their moves were studied with anticipation as to what would happen next. However, there were also those fans who were beyond thrilled to see Rodman.
Dennis Rodman’s group included his bodyguard Williams who ensured that these fans were at arm’s length. He controlled the fans by gently asking them to move. Despite his efforts, a girl slipped through Williams’ supervision. She almost went down on her knees and cried when she saw Rodman. All she wanted was to kiss the 5-time NBA Champion. The woman pleaded and said, “Please! It’s my bachelorette party.”
Looking at her desperate requests, Rodman asked Williams to back off. The girl proceeded to kiss him. As her dreams came alive, she ran down the casino and yelled, “I kissed Dennis Rodman! I kissed Dennis Rodman!”

An interaction like this might surprise many because Dennis Rodman isn’t a big fan of interacting with fans, particularly giving autographs at events. He explained this in his book ‘Walk On The Wild Side’.
He pointed out, “I have no problem with interacting with fans, but it’s just so twisted and fake when you’re up there on that stage, like an animal at the zoo, and there’s an endless procession of visitors.” With that said, history shows that Rodman does make exceptions when interacting with fans.
