If the 2021 NBA finalists can make the trade happen, it has the potential to ultimately tip the power scales. Notably, as open as the West is, the Suns are the fifth seed. However,?Devin Booker?recently got back from his injury. In addition, their ball movement has significantly improved, with?Chris Paul?taking the wheel.
A Durant-Booker scoring duo has the potential to take over the league. Phoenix will arguably have the most deadly offensive group, with CP3, Ayton Booker, and Kevin Durant leading the forces. Their defensive unit will take a hit losing Bridges. However, their attacking trio has the firing power and depth to outscore anyone in the NBA. Likewise, the Suns will instantly become contenders once again.
What seemed to be a relatively quiet trade deadline is still a ride of emotions. After the Los Angeles Lakers made their move for D’Angelo Russell, a Slim Reaper move could blow away the league. If you are on any other team, all you can do is pray and brace for impact.
