Doncic and Beverley

Patrick Beverley has always been known for his tenacity on defense. With active hands, he aims to keep the opposition on their feet and also gets under their skin. Doncic too has gone through this treatment. Not just in the matchup against the Timberwolves, but also in the past, when Beverley was a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Although Beverley had the upper hand whenever the two met in the playoffs, Luka’s numbers stood apart from the rest. In fact, he won Game 4 for the Mavs in the 2020 playoffs against the Clippers with a step-back jumper. Regardless, there is still a long way to go for the young star.

If he wishes to become a legend of the league, winning the title is almost a requirement. Moreover, the expectations on him will be high considering he is the face of the Mavericks taking over from Dirk Nowitzki. Overall, the goal for both Doncic and Beverley is the same for whatever team they represent – win the NBA title.
