The Golden State Warriors registered a thumping victory in their last game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The game ended at 120-109 and there were a couple of players who made massive contributions to the win. An overall team effort was aided perfectly by the Warriors’ star player, Stephen Curry. He dropped 39 points with eight assists and an equal number of rebounds to seal the deal for his team.
Apart from that ‘point forward’, Draymond Green also performed exceedingly well in the game. With his 13 assists and eight points, the Warriors sailed through comfortably. While Dub Nation celebrated the win as well as a masterclass by Curry, an ex-NBA champion wasn’t as happy about the performance. He hit Curry with a reality check while calling him “a little too passive.”

Stephen Curry dropped one of his best performances in recent times against the Pelicans on Tuesday night. It seems like it wasn’t enough for the ex-NBA champion Donte DiVincenzo. Although a current teammate of Curry, DiVincenzo didn’t mince his words after the game while talking about the 4x NBA champion. DiVincenzo had a decent game as well, he scored 13 points and secured seven rebounds for his team. It was after the game that he commented on Curry’s masterclass performance.
The 2021 NBA champion said, “I think he should do it more often,” while talking about Curry’s brilliant performance. He added, “Take over. Sometimes, given how good he is, and how good of a leader he is, he?s a little too passive.”? The 26-year-old then called Curry “the best player out there” and said that he should go and win games for his team more often.
With that win over the Pelicans, the Warriors are now placed 6th in the Western Conference table. The team is keeping their hopes alive for the playoffs.
