Him calling out the Kings’ fans after his ejection was an iconic image of the series. Hence, in the Game 5 post-game press conference, Green was asked about how he felt being the “villain” in Sacramento with the crowd constantly booing him. The Warriors star’s comments implied how he didn’t aim to rile up the Sacramento crowd in the series, but didn’t back down when the crowd came at him. His attitude toward the crowd and the game helped the team take a lead against the Kings, who were an absolute nightmare for the Warriors at the start of the series.?
Green was suspended for Game 3 of the series, which was the first of their three consecutive wins. However, since Green’s return, fans have been overjoyed with his performance, particularly on Wednesday night. In addition, his comments have attracted a lot of fans who feel that Green has been backing up his words with his performance.
