Stephen Curry and the Golden State?Warriors are in an NBA Final after three years of soul searching. It has not been easy for them but acquiring players like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, and Kevon Looney has relatively eased the pain. The return of Klay Thompson this year, as well, has made fans hope that finally, something is possible.

Their offense, in these playoffs, has been praised. Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney, and Andrew Wiggins have all stepped up. Most of these players were at their imperious best in the Conference Finals series against the Dallas Mavericks.

But expert Nick Wright thinks this Warriors offense is a bit overrated. In his own words, he says, “I think, right now, the Warriors’ overall offense is slightly overrated by the general public. Jordan Poole has cooled off considerably after a hot start to the playoffs. He’s 14 points per game in his last seven. Klay Thompson is averaging one good game a series this postseason.”.

He mentioned Draymond Green scoring more than 10 points only twice in the last two rounds. Wright also pointed out that Green has not scored more than 20 in the playoffs since the 2016 Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He thought Kevon Looney won’t show up as he did against the Dallas Mavericks.

Wright added that he believes all the load will hence fall on Stephen Curry. He said, “I think Steph Curry has to have his best finals and I think he will. He averaged, in the recent Finals, close to 30 a game. However, it was on 40% shooting. He needs to be more efficient.”
