8x NBA All-Star Dwight Howard recently signed up for T1 League in Taiwan after an 18-year-long career in NBA. Following an impressive debut at the T1 League for the Taoyuan Leopards with 38 points, Howard faced the heat in the following game. The 6’10 legend wasn’t tall enough for the Tainan Ghost Hawks’ center  Sim Bhullar. In a video circulated on Twitter, Bhullar made it seemingly impossible for Howard to move around the court. NBA world was quick to flurry the video with reactions.

The former Los Angeles Lakers center decided to sign up for the T1 League in early November 2022. After he failed to attract any contract in the NBA. Notably, Howard approached Brooklyn Nets for a deal before he decided to join the T1 league.

NBA fans react to Patrick Beverly-like antics

Reacting to the video, one user was reminded of Los Angeles Lakers point guard Patrick Beverly’s antics. The user said, “Out there looking like Pat Bev“. ‘Clown’ Patrick Beverly faced a lot of heat from the Lakers fan for his antics in the game against Phoenix Suns. Beverly was seen showing gestures to the Suns’ Chris Paul. The gesture was indicating that Paul is ‘too small’ for the Lakers’ legend. Similarly, the fans found a parallel between the two incidents.

While Beverly was facing heat for his antics, the NBA world took Dwight Howard’s video on a lighter note. The fans were also reacting to the unreal 7’5″ Bhullar towering over the Lakers’ legend.

Reacting to Patrick Beverly’s antics, fans requested the management to trade him out. Some fans expressed that they were embarrassed by the situation. Lakers fans were further disappointed as they lost to the Suns. Contrarily, the former Lakers star was only mocked for his antics.

I am ready to enjoy my life by playing the sport I love,” said Dwight Howard, on a Facebook before beginning his new campaign at T1 League. The 36-year-old impressed everyone with his debut game as he scored 38 points with 25 rebounds and 9 assists. As per T1 league standings, Howard’s team Taoyuan Leopards stands at the bottom of the table with (1-7) record.
