The Mummy franchise star Brendan Fraser won his first Oscar at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday. He won the prestigious Best Actor award for the latest Darren Aronofsky drama, The Whale, touted to be Fraser’s comeback movie. Apart from his popular films, NBA fans recently unearthed a hidden gem in the star’s filmography. The Canadian-American actor starred in a lesser-known film as a basketball player in 2000. Moreover, he spoofed the Chicago Bulls legends Dennis Rodman and Michael Jordan in a particular scene.

The Bulls team from the 90s era attained global popularity and eventually solidified a place in American pop culture. The dream trio of the Bulls, MJ, Rodman, and Scottie Pippen became household names with their popularity. Additionally, the trio has acted in several films as well.

In the fantasy/comedy film Bedazzled, Brendan Fraser played an awkward IT employee named Eliot Richards. In a surprising turn of events, Richards gets seven wishes from the Devil to impress his crush. Using one of the wishes, he turns into a 7ft basketball player. Moreover, in one particular scene, Richards transforms into Dennis Rodman and then Michael Jordan for a few seconds.

Meanwhile, when he transformed into Jordan, he donned the popular MJ leather jacket and went for his classic handshake while uttering, “Yeah,” in MJ’s tone.
