Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the NBA, the purple and gold put out their City Edition jerseys like last year. Now, they’re all set to suit-up in those, against the Timberwolves.

However, it won’t be an iconic jersey without the classic purple. Firstly, the iconic purple has to be a staple as it got it all started for the Lakers. Winning 17 titles, they’ve had many legendary players and squads playing, winning, and grinning in those colors. The organisation has done a great job in using intricate details to showcase the complete history. How do the jerseys look? 

The City Edition jersey has the famous blue color that pays homage to the original championship team of Minneapolis. Moreover, it follows the triangular name design from the ’60s. The belt buckle contains the famous ‘L’ from the Kobe Bryant and Shaq 2000’s Lakers. To cover the iconic ‘Showtime’ Lakers, the jerseys follow the shadow numbering.
