There have been some great scorers in the NBA. However, not many match the abilities of Kevin Durant. The 7-foot athlete has the handles of a guard and for his size, he is a lights-out shooter. He was on full display against the Detroit Pistons tonight as he exploded for 51 points to secure the win.
There is no surprise that Durant is leading the NBA in scoring. He is also second on the MVP ladder with a season to remember. With the absence of Irving and Harden yet to find his rhythm, Durant is the Nets’ offense. The ‘Slim Reaper’ has had no trouble in what he does best so far. Tonight, the Pistons got front row seats to his scoring prowess.
Durant scored 50 points for the seventh time in his career and had the fans excited.

Kevin Durant gives Pistons a fifty-piece
Durant has shown his scoring prowess on many occasions this season. The Nets All-Star even came close to the fifty-point mark multiple times but failed to achieve it. However, tonight Durant reached deep into his duffle bag and got out all his moves against Detroit. He dominated them for 51 points in the 116-104 win.
Not only did he lead the Nets in scoring, but he took charge of everything. The 4-time scoring champion led the Nets in all major statistics and carried them to yet another win. Brooklyn sits at the throne in the Eastern Conference and Durant wants to make sure to keep it that way.

The Pistons received bad news after their leading scorer Jerami Grant went down. However, rookie Cade Cunningham took his place and did not fail to impress. He put up 26 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Frank Jackson had yet another stellar run from the bench, scoring 25 points.
However, the star of the night was Kevin Durant. He went off for 51 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists in Brooklyn’s 19th win of the season. With no Harden in his corner, the Easy Money Sniper had to step up, and he answered the call. Veterans LaMarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills combined to score 33 points in the win as well.
