NBA fans have had the privilege of watching some of the best point guards ever drop their magic on the court. Out of the numerous legends, Allen Iverson is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever. Interestingly enough, he feels Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is one of the most unique players ever.

Talking during a Philadelphia 76ers event, Iverson talked highly about the 4 time NBA champion. Moreover, he compared Steph to the one and only, Michael Jordan.

According to AI, Steph is different, and he is something we have never seen before. Considering how good Iverson himself was, Curry certainly will feel proud to hear such words from the NBA Hall of Famer.

Iverson said, “He’s incredible, he’s different, he’s something we have never seen. It’s crazy to me, like just me being the biggest Michael Jordan fan, to see somebody come around like this.

Interestingly enough, Iverson shot to fame in the NBA after crossing over Michael Jordan. When the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Chicago Bulls on 12th March 1997, AI made headlines worldwide.

A young Allen Iverson had his first headline moment as he crossed over Jordan in emphatic fashion. The 6 time NBA champion was left bamboozled by Iverson’s brilliance and he went on to score a bucket.

During an interview, Jordan was asked about the players he would pick on his team during a pickup game. He snubbed out Curry, much to the awe of fans listening to the interview. Moreover, he had an interesting take on Curry.

Jordan said, “He’s still a great player. Not a Hall of Famer yet, though. He’s not.” However, this was back in 2019 and Curry has come a long way from there.
