During one such moment in the Lakers’ recent loss against the Milwaukee Bucks, an NBA legend’s ‘insensitive’ comment about Davis has created a buzz among fans.

NBA legend Reggie Miller recently made an inconsiderate joke while commentating during the game between the Lakers and the Bucks on February 9. The Indiana Pacers legend made a joke about Davis’ affinity to injuries after he came into contact with Bucks’ guard Wesley Matthews. Apparently, Miller, who was once called a ‘woman’ by? Michael Jordan, went viral among NBA fans on Twitter for his sarcastic remark.

Miller’s ‘insensitive’ comment goes viral

During the game on Thursday, Dennis Schroder was heading towards the hoop with the ball in his hand. However, Wesley Matthews snatched the ball away from Schroder. Subsequently, Matthews and Davis both went after the loose ball and ended up colliding, resulting in the Lakers star falling down while holding his hip, followed by a frown on his face.

In a recently posted game footage by a basketball page on Twitter, Kevin Harlan can be heard pointing out, “Grimacing right there AD.” Meanwhile, Reggie Miller responded, “That’s the last thing Lakers fans wanna see. Any time AD grimaces, it’s three weeks.” Harlan tried as hard as he could to control his laughter following Miller’s comments on air. Fans had a similar reaction. They flooded Twitter with their own set of jokes.

In the footage, Anthony Davis made his way back to the bench after being knocked down by Matthews. The eight-time All-Star was seen shaking his head while sitting alongside LeBron James, who missed out on Thursday’s game.

The Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls‘ biggest roadblock to the 1998 championship was Reggie Miller’s Indian Pacers. While Miller was looking for his first-ever NBA championship, Jordan aimed to achieve a second three-peat. The two NBA stars faced off in the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals series, which the Bulls won by 4-3. But Miller and the Pacers did not make it easy for MJ and co.

During a 1998 interview, Michael Jordan claimed that Miller drove him ‘nuts’. Jordan reckoned that playing against a 185 pound weighing Miller was like ‘chicken-fighting with a woman’ because the Bulls legend was concerned about fouling. MJ added, “On offense, I use all my 215 pounds and just move him out. But he has his hands on you all the time, like a woman holding your waist. I just want to beat his hands off because it?s illegal. It irritates me.?
