In an interview with Ahmad Rashad in 2004, fans got a glimpse of some of the greatest in US sporting history. Tennis champion Serena Williams, NBA legend Michael Jordan, and MLB icon Derek Jeter were seated among others and discussing sports and life. The footage saw the players at their candid best.

Rashad asked Williams which question does she hate to answer. Serena Williams answered demurely that she abhorred answering how she felt playing against her sister. Her sister is none other than Venus Williams. In 2022, after her final game, she credited Venus to be the reason behind her success.
Derek Jeter, who was seen sitting next to her, in a composed manner responded to the tennis legend. He said he asked her a similar question a while ago.
Michael Jordan teases Derek Jeter
Both Serena Williams and Michael Jordan burst into laughter. Jordan couldn’t stop laughing and teased Jeter: “Now you know not to ask her again.” Williams couldn’t put a full stop to her giggles as well.

Jordan has been known to keep things light in a conversation. Even during the most somber occasions, he can light up everybody’s faces. Fans will remember how he made a joke during Kobe Bryant’s funeral tribute. MJ referenced his famous crying meme and hoped it would not surface again. It left the entire stadium in splits.

The rivalry between Venus Williams and Serena Williams was churned out by the media. Everybody loved to pit them against each other. What Serena said displaced the rivalry. In another interview, Williams spoke about the special bond that they shared. Serena said Venus was the only one she would talk to after she lost a match. They undoubtedly have a great understanding of each other.
