The comeback is always greater than the setback. It is a common phrase that always rings true. Likewise, New York Knicks point guard, Kemba Walker, is proving just that. After being out of the rotations, the former All-Star has come back and dominated in all the games. However, tonight he had the MSG on fire with his first-half performance.

Kemba Walker joined the Knicks in this year’s offseason. It was a move to help them get better and add another scoring option. However, it seemed things weren’t working out as Tom Thibodeau took him out of the rotations. However, injuries and the unavailability of players got him another chance. Walker took it with open arms scoring 20+ points in each game

Walker came in with the heat running all through him. He added 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in the first half against the Washington Wizards. Scoring 23 in the second quarter, he had a heat check towards the end as he hit an off-balance shot. While he got a shot by luck, Walker is proving just how valuable he can be to a team despite having a defensive disadvantage.

The question arises if he can do this consistently. Walker has proved he can play at a top-level. However, since the last few seasons, his game has suffered. His averages have gone down and his impact isn’t the same anywhere.
