All anybody can talk about is the new Brooklyn Nets trio and how they will wreak havoc in the league. The Brooklyn Nets couldn’t have gotten a better man on their roster, which might not be the popular opinion. Leaving the Houston Rockets seems to be working wonders for James Harden. But the man behind the Nets’ success so far has to be Kevin Durant.
The deadly trio
When Durant went down with a ruptured Achilles in his right leg during the 2019 NBA Finals, he was escorted off the court. His absence cost the Golden State Warriors their title against the Toronto Raptors, and it was also the last game he played with them.

However, a ray of hope came to life when Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were put together in the Nets. But it seems like it just wasn’t their time, and both of them sat out all the 2019 season because of their injuries.
And when the 2020-21 season started, it has been a treat to watch Durant and Irving’s on-court chemistry. If that wasn’t enough, James Harden has been added to this deadly equation. Irving hasn’t played so far with the two, which is still raising some questions about how they will turn out.
As far as Harden and KD are concerned, their team up is working like magic for the Nets. Harden is already setting records with his scoring with his new team.
Kevin Durant better than Jordan and LeBron?
The Nets are standing at a 9-5 record so far and are on a four-game winning streak. Many analysts doubted Durant’s efficiency entering this season because of the ACL injury. It is one of the toughest injuries to recover from, and most were unsure whether he will be as valuable as before.

However, it was foolish to doubt the man who is compared to LeBron James and Michael Jordan in terms of scoring. Who is the best scorer to ever play in the NBA? KD definitely makes that list along with the other legends. Without a doubt, not many players can play like they never left.
Kendrick Perkins said, “Kevin Durant averaging 30 points a night on 54% shooting from the field coming off Achilles injury is INSANE…it also confirms what I’ve been saying for the last few year that he’s the BEST SCORER to ever touch the damn basketball!!! Btw Good morning my good people.”
