It had been a harsh time for members of the Brooklyn Nets organization last week, including their fans. Quick and surprising exits from both of their main stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving shook the entire league. However, the Nets’ drama does not stop there. A recent post-game interview by two Nets players went viral for all the wrong reasons. That reason is, the NBA’s slapped a five-figure fine on one of the Nets’ rookies for his remarks in the post-game interview, catching the attention of fans online.?
Some NBA fans considered the fine to be unfair, although the NBA found the rookie’s comments to be derogatory.?

Cam Thomas, who had a great game after the departure of the Nets’ main stars, was fined a huge amount of $40,000 for his remarks. In the post-game interview with Nets’ recent addition Spencer Dinwiddie, Thomas was asked by the reporter,?“You got to bring the good looks, because you guys were lacking that”.?
Thomas replied, “We already had good-looking dudes, but no homo”. The NBA went on to fine the young rookie for his remark which some fans considered to be unfair.
