Windhorst, Marks, and McMenamin all said with the moves that was made yesterday, the ship on Kyrie has sailed. Too much cap space has been eaten up. Plus the Lakers don’t want to give him 4yr max. Dallas will pay him the max if he can act right.

It is impossible for Kyrie to come, Vanderbilt has 5M in the next year, Bamba 10M, Beasley 15M, Dlo, Reaves and Hachimura will be extended

Lakers would either have to be a hard cap team to do that via sign and trade and let some good players go or let a whole bunch of good players go and get Kyrie to take a discount too.
Neither is likely

Honestly… they’re probably better off resigning all of their upcoming free agents rather than punt everything on Kyrie. We’ll see what LeGM cooks up though
