Kanye West is one of the most decorated and celebrated musicians to this day. The man is arguably single-handedly responsible for creating a billion-dollar empire around his name. West has also garnered the love of millions from all over the globe. Moreover, he has some of the biggest brands right behind him. However, his recent anti-semitic bursts on social media are seeing the 45-year-old lose it all.
West’s first step into the downfall came due to his actions at his Yeezy fashion show in Paris. The popular rapper endorsed ‘White Lives Matter’ shirts which were considered to be a hate slogan by the Anti-Defamation League. However, this was merely the beginning. After defending his choices, West made a controversial comment about Jewish people in a Twitter post. Multiple social media companies have since cut off West from using their platform. In addition, the fashion brand Balenciaga has also cut ties with the artist.

While West continues to go under the hammer, multiple personalities have criticized his behavior. ESPN analyst, Stephen. A. Smith even called out the creator of Yeezy. Recently, Kwame Brown became the latest personality to comment on the entire situation. However, his stance was perhaps unexpected.
Kwame Brown speaks up on Kanye West drama
One of West’s most bizarre claims surrounded George Floyd. The American rapper dismissed his death on racial grounds and said he died due to a fentanyl overdose. Likewise, the Floyd family was livid with such accusations and reportedly plan to sue West for his comments. However, Kanye West isn’t the only person facing the heat. ‘Drink Champs’ host, N.O.R.E became subject to criticism for allowing West to speak so carelessly on the sensitive issue.

However, according to Kwame Brown, N.O.R.E is in no position to apologize. The former NBA star believes the American rapper isn’t to blame for West’s claims as he merely gave West a platform. According to Brown, N.O.R.E doesn’t share similar beliefs to be in a position to defend himself.
Brown said: “I don’t agree with everything that he says. I could interview Kanye and say, ‘Look I’m not responsible for this man’s words, we’re going to give him a platform to talk just like TMZ did, just like every other place did’. So no, I don’t have to take on his beliefs to interview somebody. Nobody that interviewed Jeffrey Dahmer took on his beliefs to interview him.”

In addition, the American rapper also revealed how West threatened to walk out when his producers spoke with him.
