On the other hand, the story couldn’t be any different for the Dallas Mavericks with Luka Doncic having arguably his greatest regular season. Now, before lacing up for a battle with LeBron James, it seems the 23-year-old went for some style points.
The 2022-23 season so far has seen Luka Doncic raise his game to an entirely different dimension. Enjoying a career-high 32.8 points per game, the Slovenian wizard’s usage rate is arguably beyond the charts. As far as momentum goes, Doncic is on cloud nine. Just last game, the three-time All-Star went off for a blazing 50-point double-double in a nail-biting win over the Houston Rockets.

Luka Doncic sending a message to LeBron James and the Lakers?
The purple and gold seem to be one of Doncic’s favorite oppositions to group against. Notably, he has scored at least 25 points in five of the last six contests against the 17-time champs. Likewise, with the Christmas lights shining bright, the 23-year-old Mavericks guard decided to send an early message. Notably, the cameras caught the 6’8″ star in a cowboy look from head to toe.

Without the dominance of Anthony Davis, the Lakers have lost their last three games. Notably, LeBron James upped his production scoring 30 points or more in his last six games and?Russell Westbrook also marked his return in the loss to the Charlotte Hornets. As far as talent goes, the Mavericks probably overwhelm the 2020 champions when it comes to their shooting prowess. A matchup between the King and Luka Magic will take all the eyes.
