The competition in the league has always been stiff. There are several players creating career highs, some creating records, and others surpassing the greats. The teams in both the Eastern and the Western Conferences have players packed with talent. But, a 4x NBA champion doesn’t believe that the Western Conference is to be feared. Coming from him, it could sting LeBron James.

The Golden State Warriors‘ Draymond Green doesn’t seem to be bothered by the teams in the Western Conference. He said before the game against the Celtics, “I am not concerned by anybody in the West“.
Fans have not taken his comment well and suggested Green “stay humble”. Others were enraged and said that “No one even knows your name“.
You shouldn’t be. Because no one even knows your name bro.

They should be concerned about the grizzlies and pelicans. Grizz are hungry and Pelicans look really good. The warriors however haven’t looked consistent at all

Last month, Draymond Green spoke to The Athletic and said he doesn’t find contenders within his conference.
“And then in the West, I was looking at the other day and it?s like no one has stood out.”
His comments may be right to an extent, but fans were quick to point out that there are other teams who are faring well in the Western Conference. Especially the New Orleans Pelicans who top the NBA table or even LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers who seem to be in their renaissance era.
If not LeBron James, who is a threat?
Draymond Green’s remarks are particularly strange since he has a great connection with LeBron James. In fact, he recently claimed that LeBron was better than Michael Jordan. Even the media tagged Green as a person who spoke about LeBron more than his own teammates.
Before the regular season started, the Warriors star had pointed out two threats in the conference. Draymond Green said that Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks were noteworthy teams. According to him, the Clippers had the “best coach”, Ty Lue.
