However, the list was missing one particular player, who eventually made most of the fans angry on social media.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend?Kobe Bryant‘s name was missing from Smith’s list. Moreover, fans seemingly couldn’t take it and vented their disappointment by commenting on Shaq’s post.

Almost a week ago, Smith shared his?‘top 5’?NBA players of all time. Lately,?Shaq re-shared Smith’s list on his Instagram handle?with a caption,?“not mad at this list, gimme your thoughts.”?Big Diesel seemingly agreed with the analyst about his choices.

The list contained the pictures and names of players like?Michael Jordan,?LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, and Magic Johnson. Interestingly, Abdul-Jabbar and Johnson have donned the purple and gold jersey, with King James still with the LA side. Whereas Jordan and Russell were players who played for Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics, respectively.?
NBA fans expressed their disappointment as Kobe Bryant misses out
As soon as Shaq re-shared the list, it grabbed the attention of the fans. They chipped in on Instagram to share their thoughts and feelings, notably about the absence of the Black Mamba from the list. In light of this, one fan commented,?“No Kobe? This has to be illegal”
