A few months ago, Nikola Jokic declared Curry to be the most impressive player in the league. However, while Jokic might hold Curry in the highest regard, analysts feel the Serbian is the tougher player to guard.

Nikola Jokic vs Stephen Curry

Nikola Jokic and Stephen Curry have been in contention for the best player title for a while now. But according to former NBA player Kendrick Perkins, this is a no-brainer. When asked about who is the tougher player to guard between the two, Perkins had a lot to say.

Imma go with Jokic. One because he is seven foot and so damn skilled. But we are talking about arguably the best passing big man to ever play the game of basketball,” Perkins said.

He added, “When you have a guy that could see over the defense, see over the double team and make pinpoint passes on time on target with that IQ and court vision, it makes him impossible to guard.”

Interestingly enough, while Perkins feels Jokic is tougher to guard, the Denver Nuggets star feels otherwise. During an interview for Arena Sport TV, Jokic expressed his thoughts on Curry. He said, “For sure it’s Steph Curry. I say that to pretty much everyone. If you don’t like watching him play, you probably don’t like watching basketball as a sport altogether.
