The NBA world is in a storm right now. With the Warriors crowned champions again after their last title in 2018, Stephen Curry showed the world once again how great a player he is. He got his hands on the much-awaited finals MVP trophy. Amidst all these headlines now the focus has shifted towards the preparations of the teams going into the next season.

The focus is on major big stature players as they decide on their future. And one such player who has all the eyes on him is Kevin Durant. Just a day after Kyrie?s reported decision to opt-in, KD has requested a trade from the Nets.?

Former NFL player Emmanuel Acho sounded off after Shams Charania of The Athletic confirmed the news. Acho summed up KD?s career in terms of the teams he has been in. He listed how everywhere KD has been he has had some issues with all the teammates he has been with.

He said that he could understand why it did not work with Russell Westbrook in OKC, mainly because both the players have the personality of alpha males. Next, he said that he could also understand that he did not get along well with Draymond Green for which he added, ?I get that. Even though you have the ultimate peacemaker, Mother Teresa Gandhi in Steph Curry sitting on the roster. But I understand that.?

He continued and said that then to have issues with James Harden and now with Kyrie Irving, it was a bit much. He slammed KD, ?Eventually, we gotta have Kevin Durant look in the mirror. I’m making no jokes. look in the mirror and say man, ?Is it them? Is it me? Or is it both?? He’s either a bad partner or he is a bad picker or he’s both.?

What next for Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and the Brooklyn Nets?

There was news that Kyrie Irving might be looking to change teams in the off-season. Then it became a scenario of a LeBron James & Kyrie Irving reunion. Amidst all that, rumors suggested that even Durant would be willing to leave the Nets. But soon after, reports indicated that Kyrie is willing to opt-in a 37.1 million dollar deal. Nets fans brought their smiles back as they thought the KD-Kyrie partnership would still play for Brooklyn. However, another twist, another turn.?

The Nets were almost prepared to lose their two superstars but with the hope of keeping them both, they surely would have looked at the future differently. Now KD handing in the request puts Kyrie?s decision into uncertainty again. Getting all three of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, there is a possibility that neither of the three would be in Brooklyn next season; Harden being traded to the Sixers.?
