The NBA has had many great players step foot on the hardwood. However, not many had the near impact like Kobe Bryant did. The ‘Mamba’ was one of the few players who gave their lives to the sport of basketball. His message of hard work and giving it his everything made him the man he was. Likewise, players from other sports also draw inspiration from him and it seems the Eagles’ quarterback is one of them.

Despite retirement, Bryant did not stop working. Instead, he started helping his daughter and numerous other young female players in the game of basketball. Moreover, he also took a go at movies and even won an Oscar. His very famous ‘Mamba Mentality’ was the reason Kobe found success in whatever he did.

Even today, his mental toughness is alive within many upcoming stars who learned work ethics from the Lakers legend.

Jalen Hurts wears Kobe Bryant jacket to enter battle

Hurts is a young and rising talent in the NFL. Only in his second year, the 23-YO is the starting quarterback for the Eagles. While many have questioned his talent, Hurts is cutting out all the noise. Evidently, before the game against the Denver Broncos, Hurts came in with a Lower Merion jersey of Kobe Bryant.

While he honored the ‘Mamba’ with the jacket, he brushed off his ‘Mamba Mentality’ on his teammates as well. Prior to the game, the Houston-born used a Kobe video during the team meeting as well. It was refreshing to see how young stars are preaching the ‘Mamba Mentality’ and benefitting from it.
