However, the Warriors’ front office stuck with him and built a team around him. Eventually, he conquered his injury issues and has been the key man for the Warriors ever since. He has reciprocated the faith shown in him by helping the Warriors win multiple championships.

The former two-time MVP has missed the Warriors’ last 12 games owing to a foot injury he sustained during the loss against the Celtics on March 16. With the Warriors’ first playoff game against the Denver Nuggets to be played on April 16, fans hope that Stephen Curry could make a return.?

The Warriors have tweeted that Steph Curry is progressing well in his injury recovery. This news has made a lot of NBA fans hyped. One among them was the NFL star, DK Metcalf. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver replied, ?Let?s Go Steph ???.?

Stephen Curry?s return

Stephen Curry averaged 25.5 points per game for the 2021-22 regular season. The reigning scoring champion is 10th on the scoring list this season.?

After progressing well in his recovery from the foot injury, Stephen Curry has started doing individual non-contact work on the court. He might return to full-team practices sooner than expected. Steve Kerr said, “The whole team will need a scrimmage given that we generally play every other day and all of a sudden we have six days between games, that’s pretty unique,”. He said, “Everybody will need a scrimmage but it would be irresponsible to put Steph out there in a playoff game without having scrimmage time before?.

Can the Golden State Warriors make a deep playoff run?

The Golden State Warriors ended the regular season with a record of 53 wins and 29 losses. The Dubs sealed the 3rd seed in the Western Conference. They will face the 6th Denver Nuggets in their first round of playoffs.
