The playoff series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Memphis Grizzlies is all tied up. Both teams have had notable losses and wins. Last game, Minnesota was up by 26 but lost the game, eventually. Memphis, too, lost their first game. Ja Morant and Anthony Edwards have performed exceptionally for both teams.
But the most notable part of Minnesota’s matches have been protesters running on to the field. It has been happening since the end of the regular season. It’s very hilarious and funny as each effort trumps the other.

Pat Beverly’s histrionics and protesters coming to the field and chaining themselves have been trademarks of this Timberwolves season and it happened again. A woman ran into the field but the stadium security brought her down in a rather physical manner. NBA Twitter has been all over this moment. Why are there protests over the Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor

The protestor was part of a group called Direct Action Everywhere. They directed their anger against Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor over alleged animal cruelty at farms owned by his company, Rembrandt Enterprises.

The group is requesting that Taylor donate all HPAI-related subsidies he received to public health charities and animal sanctuaries as a fine and to commit to not taking any such funds in relation to the recent outbreak and mass killing. DxE’s press release stated. “Saying the NBA is no place for abusive factory farmers, DxE is also asking that the sale of the team — set to transfer majority ownership to baseball Hall of Famer Alex Rodriguez and businessman Marc Lore in 2023 ? be expedited, with Taylor immediately stepping down from day-to-day operations.”

There were protests even during the Los Angeles Clippers match in the play-in tournament A protestor from that group attempted to glue herself to the floor. Later, in Game 1 of this series, a different protestor chained themselves to the basket and had to be cut free before being removed from the arena. In addition, they thwarted a similar protest?during Game 3 of the series on Thursday claimed the group.
