NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is a huge fan of football. He has been spotted watching the Super Bowl and other games live on multiple occasions. Shaq is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and he isn’t shy of putting his affiliations known to the public. The 4-time NBA champion is a vocal fan and he called out the Cowboys and their players recently. The Cowboys took on the San Fransisco 49ers in the second round of the postseason and it didn’t end well for the team and its supporters.
The 49ers advanced to the next round after beating the Cowboys 19-12. Quarterback Dak Prescott came under fire immediately after the loss. He had some turnovers during the game and the team’s official Twitter handle called him out for it. This didn’t sit well with a lot of fans and Shaq, in particular, as he ranted about the incident on his podcast.

Posting on social media after a loss is tough for any social media manager in the world. However, the Cowboys admin took it too far recently. The official account posted a picture of Dak Prescott on Twitter and pointed out his two mistakes during the game.
Although Prescott took accountability for his mistakes after the game, the team’s message raised a lot of eyebrows. Shaquille O’Neal was fuming with the team’s treatment of Prescott.
Talking on The Big Podcast with Shaq, he said, “My thing is, if you ain’t playing the perfect Steph Curry-type game, don’t talk about what I do. If you didn’t tell me on the face and tell them, you got a problem coz I just saw you. You was one of the first ones that said don’t worry about it. I’d be more impressed if you cussed me out in the shower.”
The Cowboys ended their season in heartbreak after the loss and rumors are already suggesting that Prescott could leave the team very soon. In fact, an NFL legend is being linked with the Cowboys to potentially replace Prescott.
