Earlier this year, NFL legend and former Denver Broncos player, Shannon Sharpe got into an altercation with Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies during the Grizzlies’ games against the Los Angeles Lakers. The altercation got so heated that even Morant’s father, Tee Morant joined them and exchanged a few words with Sharpe. In light of this, the reporters asked Brooks about the altercation during a post-game interview which prompted him to call the three-time Super Bowl winner both as ‘regular pedestrian‘ and ‘blogger’.

Sharpe didn’t give any reply to his comments until a few days back, making it look like he was still ‘petty’ over his remarks. The altercation started when the former Broncos player and the 6’6 Grizzlies guard started to yell at each other at the end of the second quarter. Following that, Morant, Morant’s dad, and another Grizzlies player, Steven Adams joined in to confront the now the-54-year-old. A few moments later, the altercation subsided after Tee Morant and Sharpe were escorted away. However, Brooks was seemingly not happy with it as he made the aforementioned remarks.

The Lakers came out victorious after locking horns with the Grizzlies on Tuesday night. At one point in the game, the Lakers rising star, Austin Reaves snatched the basketball from Brooks. In light of this, Sharpe tweeted the following about the Grizzlies guard on his official Twitter handle. He wrote, “Dude [Dillion Brooks] looked like a pedestrian or a blogger the way Reaves snatched the (basketball emoji) from him (laughing emojis).”

This comment showed that the former Broncos player was still ‘petty’ over the Grizzlies guard’s remarks. The NFL legend was seemingly just waiting for his opportunity to give him a befitting reply.

How are the Grizzlies performing currently after Ja Morant was suspended?

Morant was suspended by the Grizzlies after he shared a disturbing gun video on his social media handle a couple of days back. Following his suspension, the Grizzlies seemingly took a hit. The Grizzlies have failed to win their last two games which were against the Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. They are significantly looking a lot weaker in the absence of their cornerstone player. However, they are still sitting in third place in the West, and it appears they would certainly make it into the playoffs.
