The recent interview given by a particular Detroit Lions star is winning the hearts of millions of NFL fans. The heartfelt speech did not go unnoticed by Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James as well who retweeted a clip of the interview on his social media handle. Following a major upset pulled off by the Detroit Lions at the recent game against the Green Bay Packers, the Lions RB’s interview became the second highlight of the night.
NFL fans were left stunned following the Detroit Lions’ 20-16 win over Aaron Rodger‘s Green Bay Packers. The memorable night was especially a significant one for Jamaal Williams who broke the franchise’s previous record of rushing touchdowns set by Hall of Famer Barry Sanders in 1991.

Lions RB finds a fan in LeBron James
Probably just about every NFL fan was expecting to watch the Green Bay Packers defeat the Detroit Lions on Sunday night at Lambeau Field. However, the Lions proved their worth by crushing XLV Super Bowl champion Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Following the Lions’ victory, 27-year-old BYU Alumna, Jamaal Williams, gave a heartwarming interview where he dedicated the game to his great-grandfather who had passed away recently.

“I just dedicate this to him. I’m just proud, I’m just grateful to do this for him, my grandfather…he was 92 but I’m just grateful for him to be in my life and I’m grateful to be able to play football and do this for him,” an emotional Williams said during an interview with NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark.
The interview was reshared by 4x NBA champion LeBron James who declared himself a fan of Williams and sent a shoutout to him.
