As a bonus over his inspiring journey, the 3x NBA Champion who retired in 2019 is all set to receive the NBA’s greatest honor. 12x Grammy award winner John Legend and an Aaron Rodgers teammate along with several other stars from across sports joined hands with Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union to accompany Wade in his achievement.?

Apart from his prowess on the court, fans remember Wade for his untiring efforts toward the LQBTQ community. The legend even received an honor at the prestigious NAACP Image Awards. However, it?s Wade?s turn to receive the NBA’s big honor for his efforts on the court. The league recently announced D-Wade, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Gregg Popovich and Dirk Nowitzki as the inductees nominated for its Hall of Fame, class of 2023.

Days after the official announcement, Dwyane Wade took to his Instagram to share pictures along with an interesting caption. The caption read, ?I?m both humbled and honored to have made it to basketball heaven.? The pictures included some of the legends of the game, such as Magic Johnson and Julius Erving, along with his fellow nominees.?

In response to Wade?s Instagram post, several stars across the country joined hands to appreciate him. First and foremost, Wade?s wife, Gabrielle Union, commented, ?Legend Status.? Following Union, legendary American singer John Legend wrote, ?Beyond deserved! Congratulations brotha!?
