The bidding war for the ownership of the NFL team, Washington Commanders is still on. Their current owner Dan Snyder reportedly wants $6 billion for the team, with the franchise currently valued at $5.6 billion. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos wanted to bid and was probably the most suitable candidate given the amount of money asked by Snyder, but he has no interest in doing business with Bezos for one potential reason. Following this, many famous faces, including NBA legend Magic Johnson, entered the race to bid for the aforementioned franchise. However, a new competitor from Canada has now entered the race to buy the three-time Super Bowl-winning franchise.

The Commanders’ current owner has been in the limelight for about two years after Bezos’ newspaper, The Wahington Post documented a culture of sexual harassment at the team’s offices. This revelation by the said newspaper prompted the Commanders’ owner to apparently ban the Amazon founder from bidding.
