The Kyrie Irving trade saga seems to be going nowhere. There weren’t many potential suitors to begin with, and there hasn’t been any progress with the Los Angeles Lakers, the favorites to land him. In the meantime, Irving was expected to link up with LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan at the Drew League, but he didn’t show up.

While LeBron and DeRozan put on a show, Kyrie was nowhere to be seen. The Drew League commissioner, Dino Smiley, said that they were expecting Irving to show up, but he wasn’t surprised that he didn’t. “You know how Kyrie is,”?he said, and he wasn’t the only one who was not surprised by Irving’s no-show.
