NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers loves indulging in unorthodox methods of introspection and meditation. The former Super Bowl champion recently came out of a four-day slumber in Oregon and this has the world talking. Recently, NBA legend Charles Barkley and TNT fame Ernie Johnson sat down for The Steam Room podcast. During a segment of the podcast, Johnson made an interesting claim surrounding Shaquille O’Neal.

He suggested that the four-time NBA champion should indulge in a short retreat similar to Rodgers. Interestingly, Barkley put forth one condition which will play an important role in case Shaq decides to seriously consider Johnson’s proposition.

Charles Barkley divulges the secret which might keep Shaq in a cave

Two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers shocked the world with his recent trip to Oregon. He spent four days in the Sky Cave retreat spread across hundreds of acres in southern Oregon. He spent four days and four nights in ‘darkness’ and he recently came out of his slumber. With a queen size bed, bathroom, and 300 square feet of space, the lavish cave puts expensive hotel rooms to shame.

Ernie Johnson feels Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal might be the next person to undertake this retreat. Shortly after Johnson made this claim, Charles Barkley gave his insights. Chuck said, “If he can smoke hookah in a cave and not be bothered, we would never see him.

Interestingly, Shaq missed an episode of Inside the NBA recently and Barkley roasted him and his love for hookah. While Shaq had called in sick, Barkley asserted that the four-time NBA champion could be found down the street enjoying a hookah.

Barkley has no intentions of undertaking the retreat

Prior to discussing whether Shaq would spend four days in darkness, Charles Barkley was asked the question. The former MVP replied, “Hell no”, almost instantaneously.

Chuck had once spent 8-hours in jail and memories from that fateful night will not allow Barkley to spend time in darkness. He spent a night in jail during his time with the Philadelphia 76ers when he had indulged in a bar fight.
