Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is a few games away from reaching the milestone of becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. Even before reaching it, James has been receiving a lot of appreciation and love for his illustrious career, and the ability to reach something which no one thought would be broken. Among current NBA players, Draymond Green from the Golden State Warriors has often taken time to give ‘King James’ his flowers.?

In addition to the Warriors forward, an NBA legend from the Phoenix Suns seems to agree with Green on his recent take on LeBron James. Green, in an interview with USA Today Sports, had high praise for the Lakers star.

The four-time NBA champion said in his interview, “He [LeBron James] is the greatest face the NBA has had”. Though a few felt it was true, many believed it was not, creating heated debates among fans online. Although, the Warriors star was backed by Chuck in his recent interview with ‘Showtime Basketball’.

In a recent video shared by the page on YouTube, Charles Barkley sat with former NBA player Matt Barnes to talk about basketball. While sharing his thoughts on NBA analyst and ‘Undisputed’ co-host host Skip Bayless for his frequent criticism of LeBron James, Barkley mentioned, “I think LeBron James is the greatest sports story of all-time”.

He went on to justify, “You look at Kobe, Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady. I think those are probably the three of the greatest straight-to-high-school players. But they all struggled in the beginning. For him to come into the NBA 18 years old, he was really good.”?

Supporting Green’s take, Barkley shared, “In this generation with social media, he’s never gotten into trouble, he lived up to all the hype. I think it’s probably the greatest story in sports history. In this society where people are out to get you, it’s the greatest sports story of all time”.?

All eyes are on the 38-year-old, who is set to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record in just a few games. Furthermore, James recently passed Steve Nash and Mark Jackson in the all-time assists made list to reach the 4th spot. The 4x NBA champion is in almost every possible list of the NBA, proving why he arguably is the face of the league.?
