Shooting incident victim from MSU receives support from James Harden

Three people were killed and five others injured during a mass shooting incident at MSU on February 13. John Hao, a 20-year-old student who was one of the victims of the shooting is a huge fan of the 6’5 point guard. ESPN reporter Malika Andrew mentioned in a recent tweet that the injury had left the student paralyzed from his chest down. James Harden, who heard the terrible news, made sure he dropped in to check on the fan.

Harden’s further gestures and gifts have made the fans praise him. The Philly star sent his sneakers, including one pair of his game-worn shoes to Hao. He further contributed to Hao’s ‘GoFundMe’ page, which is a crowdfunding platform to raise funds for a specific need. Most importantly, Harden video called Hao and put out some motivating words for the injured student.?

Harden on the call mentioned, “Everything will work itself out, be strong. You’re alright, you will be alright. I promise you are”. Hao replied “I got it. I got you” with teary eyes, out of words to thank ‘The Beard’. Harden added, “Yeah for sure. I love when you’re smiling too. I’m with you. I know it’s tough right now but you have to stay physically strong.”
