Injuries played a big part in the NBA playoffs this season. Two big teams in Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers suffered as their stars picked up injuries. Lakers’ LeBron James and Anthony Davis both suffered injuries this season. On the other hand, the Nets lost big stars Kyrie Irving and James Harden in the playoffs.

However, if these 2 super teams are healthy who would win in a 7 game series? Both teams abundance of talent and experience. Moreover, these 2 teams were favorites to be part of the NBA finals. Nets guard, Spencer Dinwiddie picks the Brooklyn Nets to win over LeBron James and the Lakers.

Dinwiddie says Nets would sweep the Lakers

There have been rumors that Spencer Dinwiddie wants to go to a LA team. However, recently when asked about who would win in a matchup between the Nets and Lakers when healthy, Dinwiddie chose Brooklyn. Moreover, he said that they would sweep LeBron’s Lakers in a 7 game series.

Now, with rumors that Dinwiddie is supposed to join forces with LeBron James and Anthony Davis in LA, his recent comments say otherwise. With Dinwiddie picking the Nets, it seems like he is indeed planning to resign with them.

Dinwiddie had a great last season averaging 20 points per game. However, he suffered a partial ACL tear at the beginning of the season, and has been out ever since. There were reports he would return for the Conference finals. But, the Nets couldn’t make it through the Bucks.

However, with the acquisition of James Harden, Dinwiddie will most likely come off the bench. With rumors that he wants to join an LA team and him saying Nets will sweep LeBron James and the Lakers, he might join the Clippers!

LeBron James vs Kevin Durant, who will actually win?

The next season will begin in no more than 3 months after the NBA finals. With all teams returning healthy, Lakers vs Nets will be one of the most anticipating matchups. But who would win?

Brooklyn has assembled a Big 3 in Kevin Durant, Kyrie and Harden. They also have great pieces around them such as Blake Griffin. KD proved he is still one of the best players in the league. He averaged a playoff high 34 points and almost took the Nets past Milwaukee. Kyrie and Harden are two of the most skilled scorers along with KD. However, the Nets lack size in their lineup. We saw Durant and Jeff Green play the center position this season.

On the other hand, Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Even at 36, LeBron James is playing at a top level. In addition, Anthony Davis is one of the most talented big man in the league. Moreover, they have won a championship together. LeBron James continues to put up 25 a game, while AD put up 27 points along with 1 block and steal in their finals run.

However, Lakers don’t have great pieces around LeBron and AD. Schroder and Drummond turned cold in the playoffs. This offseason will be interesting, as the Lakers could add a new star to their roster.
