Fans often get to see Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James cheer for his sons Bronny and Bryce on his social media. He likes to be involved in both of his sons’ lives. James regularly makes sure to attend his sons’ high school games as well, every now and then. However, this time LBJ hyped his former teammate’s son who may be a problem for championship-aspirants in the future!

LeBron James has played for three different teams through his 20-year-long NBA career. James has had the privilege to share the court with numerous All-Stars and legends as well.

Carmelo Anthony was one of the most lethal scorers during his prime. Though Melo later restricted his game to jumpers and post-ups, a young Carmelo Anthony was a different breed altogether during his time with the Denver Nuggets. By the time his career ended, he also had the opportunity to play alongside James with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Carmelo Anthony’s son Kiyan Anthony plays the shooting guard position at Long Island Lutheran. James posted his highlights while he played for Team Melo against Team CP3 in an exhibition game.

James uploaded the post on his Instagram stories and captioned it, “Nephew so tough.” LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony have a long-standing relationship and often hang out together as well.

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony were drafted in the same year and have often been spotted supporting their sons during their high school games together. So, it was natural for The King to play the part of an uncle to Anthony’s son.

Carmelo Anthony’s son is going to be a problem

Kiyan Anthony seems to have almost all of his father’s skillset. He has an identical jumper to his father and can already throw down dunks at 15 years of age. Within a few more years, Kiyan will surely be a threat not to be trifled with.

During his game against Team CP3, Kiyan scored 22 points and 6 rebounds through the night. Not only did he have a respectable outing, but Kiyan Anthony and Team Melo also clinched a win as the final buzzer sounded.
